Boat-School is dedicated to the teaching of good, safe, and proven methods of sailing and powerboating. Boating should be a friendly and enjoyable experience. Let Captain Jenkins tailor a program to meet your specific needs. BOAT-SCHOOL Boat-School was founded by me, Captain John Jenkins and my wife, Kate. The idea came to us by just by watching people on the water. Often we have seen a young family purchase their first boat, and they just don't know enough about safe boating. To be safe on the water with their family, they need to know the basics of navigation, weather, docking, anchoring, etc.
We have also observed experienced boaters, who have had a smaller vessel for years, but want to move up to that 40 or 50 foot boat. There is a big difference between the 24-foot day-sailor or cuddy cabin and the 50-foot cruising vessel! On a boat of this size, there is a need for couples and family members to work together as a crew.
